Service: Impeccable, went for breakfast, my coffee cup never made it under half full thanks to our attentive waitress. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Country Fried Steak and eggs. First off, HUGE portions, my husband barely finished half of his, it consisted of 2 nice sized cut with a butter knife Country fried steaks which were each on a pile of crunchy yet soft house cut hashbrowns, scrambled eggs along the side and all covered in a delicious gravy. Took the other half home for our always hungry teenage son. I had the Eggs Benedict and they were delicious. The eggs were perfect, the hollandaise was SO good, I was glad there was enough of it to swirl amongst my also delicious hashbrowns. The coffee was also very good, strong and smooth no bitterness. I've lived in Columbus almost 56 years and this is the first time I've been here. It was worth the wait, I will definitely be returning, have to try their liver and onions dinner :o) ”

It was freezing every time the door opened and everyone waiting for tables were huddled around us. The host even used our table to set her iPad on. Not ideal. I'd still come back because the food and people were great! The hostess is truly amazing at her job. ”

“ I like simple things in a restaurant. good food, good service, good clean places. I have heard about this place before, but never tried it until today, happy that i did. Very nostalgic in decor, and when the waitress called me "sugar", i knew this was my kind of place. I got the 3 egg meat lovers omelette, very impressive! Toast was buttered to my great grandmother's specifications, and the chicken fried steak my nephew had was on point. Cannot wait to bring the mrs and friends her ”

“ Where do you start here? The customer service is always top notch regardless if it's your first or last visiting the diner you'll always get a warm welcome. The atmosphere is full of all kinds of things and is fun to get lost looking at and realizing just how many enjoy it. The food is always super consistent and is just as filling. The prices of everything are also very reasonable. Overall this place should always be on the list of places for breakfast or even lunch. ”

“ My first visit. Typical diner food that really over-hypes the diner vibe in a mostly good way. Meat lovers omelette was a decent diner omelette, but nothing special. Sourdough toast, yay! I ordered dry and got slathered in butter. Boo! Will I return? No. Better breakfast choices nearby. ”

“ Such a Columbus gem. Do not let the location scare you - the food is great and the atmosphere is awesome! It is a true diner experience! I always get the eggs benedict when I'm here and it never disappoints! Free refills on coffee, fair prices and the wait to be seated is never long regardless of how busy they stay. The menu is actually quite large and in addition, they have specials posted on the wall in case you'd like something with a little more zest! Parking can get a little tight on weekend mornings/early afternoons but you can almost always find a spot to park in their lot. Huge portions - you will not leave hungry! ”

“ I am always a savory breakfast person- I order an omelette or eggs benedict at any opportunity. For the first time ever, I wished i got the french toast. Legitimately the best french toast I've had in my life. The pumpkin pancakes were unbelievable as well. Decent prices considering the portions and quality, I'm so excited to come back and get the stuffed french toast all to myself! ”
